Snowman Trio Christmas Card and Giveaway

Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing my Snowman Trio Christmas Card as well as participating in a blog hop with some fellow Anthony's Paper Craft Design Team Members. The Design Team will be sharing projects over the next 4 weeks (Every Friday) so please make sure you check out the cards they made, the links will be at the bottom. Likewise please read the entire post so you can find out what you have to do to enter my contest.

I started off by stamping the 3 snowmen from the Snowman Trio stamp set as well as the wreath from the Ornament Set 1 both from Anthony's Paper Craft. I used my Silhouette Cameo 3 and my PixScan mat to cut all the images. I did so before coloring just in case they didn't cut out correctly, I would have wasted so much time coloring if they didn't. but they did all cut out perfect.

Once I had all my stamped images cut and colored I moved to the rest of the card. I downloaded this file from The Silhouette Design Store. I resized all of the elements just a little bit so that the snowmen would fit nicely.

For the ornaments I wanted them to be really shiny. I first attempted to print them on my laser and run them through a laminator with red Deco Foil but it didn't turn out. Both my laminator as well as my laser printer are both really old, so not sure which was the issue but either way, had another idea. I took the top piece of the ornament and applied Versamark and some red WOW glitter embossing powder and heat set that. I think that worked pretty well.

All that was left was to assemble all of the elements which was the easy part. I made sure the bottom of the snowmen were behind the window and their top halves were peeking out. I really liked that effect.

When I applied the bottom part of the window frame (which also had the snowmen attached) I used some foam tape so it had a little more dimension and the snowmen had a slight shadow. I thought this really helped to make them stand out.

I finished my card off with a simple ribbon that I tied into a bow.

And that is the finished card for today. Anthony's Paper Craft is offering free shipping to my followers for the month of August on orders over $25, USA only. The code is freeship25 and expires August 31, 2018.

Please do not forget to check out the other Design Team Member's blogs for the beautiful cards they made. And don't forget to come back next Friday to see the next set of designs.
